Genealogic research for the names:

A name known since approximately 1485.

Years of intense investigation in many archives were rewarded with the proud presentation off the book "Den hofstadt toe Vaerloeberch". That seemed to end the investigation into the deceased and still livingnamesakes.

Directly after the publishing off the book, we received many positive responses. Namesakes who studied the book wanted us to know how much they appreciated having such a precious family document in their hands. With these responses we also received several corrections, that will be added to the next publishing of the book.

We try to keep up with the changes in our family tree, but we are totally reliant upon the willingness of the present generation, to help us do this, as changes are not given to us by the Town Hall. For years we have studied past and present, periodicals and newspapers, making contact with many namesakes and asking them to keep us up to date about changes in their family. In years past, we have personally met many namesakes from inland and abroad.

Gradually the need has arisen to let everyone know that we are happy to keep our family-data up to date and in these modern times the best way to do this is with a website. This also makes it easier for family to keep us up to date as well, so we can add information to the next book and keep the site updated. We hope you like the results so far and we would be happy to receive any comments you wish to share with us.

We would like to reiterate that we are very interested in changes within your family. We hope you will pass them through to us and if you have any questions or are looking for a namesake, please do not hesitate to contact us.
