A name known since approximately 1485.
 

After years of intensive research, the book "Den hofstadt toe Vaerloeberch" was presented on November 29, 1998. This seemed to put an end to the search for deceased and still-living namesakes. However, the opposite turned out to be true.
The enthusiastic reactions and the many nice contacts with namesakes led us to continue to look for new information.

Over the years we have visited many namesakes at home and abroad. We received new facts, photos and / or corrections from them. In particular, data about namesakes living abroad are now known. Important information was obtained because many archives can now be searched online, this has yielded us a lot.

We are considering compiling a new book. You can read more about this in the Book heading.
